Corr I 250 Psychological pain/attachment theory/Shaver/Mikulincer: According to Mikulincer, Shaver and Pereg (2003)(1), the pain caused by the unavailability of attachment figures in times of need can be experienced in different ways and result in different kinds of fears and defences. Mikulincer, Gillath, Sapir-Lavid et al.
